Boston has a numerous amount of culture centers and neighborhoods with an
international identity:

Cultural Centers

Mapparium 200 Mass Ave., Boston T: Green Line to Hynes
Built in 1935, this giant, walk-in globe made of stained-glass stands three stories high. Visitors can witness the world from a whole new perspective inside.

Goethe-Institute170 Beacon St., Boston T: Green Line to Copley
The Goethe Institute offers German classes and free cultural events, and aims to
promote "transatlantic dialogue" through film and conversation.

Boston French Library and Cultural Center 53 Marlborough St., Boston, MA
T: Green Line to Arlington
The French Library is home to the country's second largest private collection of French books and periodicals, and also loans out French films. The cultural center offers French classes, film screenings and lectures.

SHOWA Boston T: Bus 51
SHOWA Boston was established by Showa Women's University in Tokyo, Japan. It provides a cross-cultural exchange and educational center for Japanese. They also offer courses in Japanese language for American students, and host cultural events
