Registration and Deposit Information
Important!
This tour is extremely popular. For that reason, we must design limits to
accommodate as many high schools as possible. Please note we limit two
counselors from one high school to attend the tour.Thank you for your
consideration.
We recommend that you mail your deposit as soon as you register for the tour.
After you register online, please remember to mail in a $25 deposit check,
made out to Colleges of the Fenway, to hold your place for the tour. When your check
arrives, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from Erin Blaisdell. This process may take
up to two weeks considering time in the mail. E-mail confirmations are sent out
every Friday.
You are not officially registered until we receive your deposit and your online registration information. The check will be returned to you on the day of the tour. If
you need to cancel, please give us 8 days notice and we will void and shred
your check. Your deposit will be refunded to you if you notify us of a
cancellation at least 8 days prior to the tour.
Please register with the name that appears on the check. Colleges of the Fenway cannot
fully register you if the name on the check is different from the name you use on the
online registration system. If you are sending a check from your school, please list the
names of all of the attendees on the check in order for them to be fully registered.

Parking
You will have access to complimentary parking in the WIT Parking Lot on
Parker Street. Our starting point is a three-minute walk from the lot. There will
be people, signs, and balloons directing you.
If you are staying at the Longwood Inn or another hotel on Monday or Tuesday night,
you may park inthe MASCO 375 Longwood Avenue garage. You can enter the garage
at 3 PM and leave by 8 AM. There is a low fee of $6 for this amount of time. We prefer
that you park in this secure garage overnight because it is closer to your hotel than the
Parker Street lot.
Tips for the Day
-A hot, sit-down breakfast will be provided to you in the morning. Registration begins at
7:00. We suggest you do not arrive later than 7:30 to ensure you will have time to
receive your tote bag, folder with college information, and the itinerary for the day.
Please note that Colleges of the Fenway does not distribute the itinerary
until the day of the tour.
-Wear comfortable walking clothing and shoes (you will be walking from
campus to campus for most of the day)
-Bring an umbrella just in case Mother Nature does not work in our favor
-A hot, sit-down lunch will be served at 11:15. Snacks will be provided at the end of
the day.
-Please stay with your group even after the lunch session if you wish to receive
your $25 refundable check the day of the tour. Your check will be located at
the last location on your assigned agenda
-The tour ends between 3:45 and 4:00
-Any special accommodations? Please e-mail eblaisdell@colleges-fenway.org
Special Requests
If you want to be placed in the same group as your colleagues and friends, please
specify this in the special accomodations sections when you register. We will do our best
to honor your request. However, due to transportation requirements, it may not be
possible. The first 50 arrivals will be placed in Group A and the next 50 arrivals in
Group B. To ensure you are in the same group with your colleagues, please arrive
together.
If you are staying at a hotel over night and need a place to store your bags, we will
happily help you store them in the WIT Admissions Office after you register the day
of the tour.

What is the Colleges of the Fenway Collaboration
One of Boston’s largest academic collaborations, the Colleges
of the Fenway consists of six neighboring schools: Emmanuel
College, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts
College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Simmons College,
Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Wheelock College, all
of which have come together to enrich and expand the academic
and social opportunities for their undergraduate students.
The collaboration allows students at the colleges to cross-register
for courses, share educational resources, and attend joint
social activities.
Please join the Colleges of the Fenway for our Counselor
Tour! The
Counselor Tour will include campus tours at all six institutions, a student panel
discussion, and lunch. While counselors must provide their own transportation
to
Boston, complimentary parking is available.
