Rules

Games will begin Monday, October 22nd. Teams will consist of 6 players. There will be a men's division, a women's division, and a co-rec division (must have at least 3 females). A softer version of dodgeballs will be used to prevent injury.

All matches will take place in the MassArt Gymnasium.

Teams will start on opposite basketball baselines and 5 balls will be placed in the center of the basketball court. On the sound of the whistle teams will sprint to the center line to collect the balls. Teams must retreat back to the 3-point arc on their own court before being allowed to "peg" the opponents. Team members must stay within the basketball court boundaries and you cannot cross half court for any reason. If you do cross the center line or leave the boundaries, you will be eliminated from that game. Teams may only leave the boundary lines to retrieve balls, but must exit through their end line and reenter through their end line.

Players are eliminated if they leave the boundaries, are hit by a ball (below the head), or if the opposition catches a thrown ball before it hits the ground.

Once all players from one team have been eliminated, the opposing team wins a game. Matches consist of the best 3 out of 5 games.

A supervisor will be present to settle any disputes.
