Playoffs will begin July 29th. Season will end no later than Aug. 6th.

Rules

ASA rules will apply to all games except where otherwise noted.

1) Each roster must have AT LEAST 12 members on it.

2) Each team must field 9 players. At least 3 females must be in the field and in the batting order at all times. A team may start with 8 players, but you will take an out in the 9th batting spot.

3) If a 10th player is available, he/she may bat in the batting order as an Extra Hitter. Otherwise, substitutes can come into the game between innings.

4) There is a 50-minute time limit on all games. No new inning will start once we reach the 50-minute time limit.

5) Pitches must be made with an arc at slow speed and must be between 6 and 12 feet. There will be a mat placed behind the plate. Any pitch that hits the plate or mat is considered a strike. There are no walks, however if a pitcher can not throw strikes, the umpire has discretion to remove that pitcher from the mound and a team must field another pitcher.

6) Strikeouts occur after 3 strikes. Once a batter hits two strikes, they get one foul ball. A second foul ball after reaching two strikes will result in an out.

7) No stealing or leading off. A runner may not leave the base until the ball is contacted.

8) Each team will have 3 home games and 3 away games and the home and away teams will be dictated on the schedule.

9) All teams should arrive 15 minutes prior to game time so that games can stay on time.

10) Teams playing in the 6:15 and 7:15 games must remain outside of the playing field until the prior game finishes.

11) No gum or sunflower seeds are allowed inside of Sweeney Field.

12) The league directors reserve the right to remove any teams due to poor sportsmanship or forfeits.

13) Regular season games MAY end in a tie.
