The Colleges
of the Fenway are located in one of America’s most vibrant cultural
centers – the city of Boston! Students have many opportunities to
experience world-class performing arts events at reasonable prices, and
can usual get there on the T! The links below will help you find
performances in theater, dance and music in and around Boston. Area music
conservatories host many free concerts and recitals, and offer preparatory
and community education programs for anyone at any level who wishes to
take vocal or instrumental lessons. Explore your own creative potential by
taking in a show or performing in one! Links to

various arts events and performances as listed in the Boston Globe. Discover the
world of theater, dance and music in Boston! Make sure
that your college experience includes at least one visit to the
world-class Boston Symphony Orchestra! The BSO offers reasonably priced
tickets for students, as well as opportunities to attend open rehearsals
where you’ll actually see the orchestra prepare for a concert! From Jazz to
Reggae to Latin Music and much more, you’ll find a calendar of events
and student concerts at the Berklee Performance Center, which is located
on Mass Ave. Experience a
wide world of both contemporary and classical theater, music and dance
events at the Wang Center. Special prices are sometimes available for
students. Visit the
Boston Ballet for a performance of the Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet “The
Nutcracker” or attend a new production. Links to

Conservatory is located in the Fenway neighborhood. In addition to hosting
many fine concerts, many of which are free, they also have a Preparatory
Program in which you can take private vocal or instrumental lessons. This
program is open to people of all levels! Also located
in the Fenway, the Boston Conservatory also hosts concerts throughout the
year. The Longy
School of Music is located in Cambridge at Harvard Square. The school
hosts many concerts and recitals, many of them free, and also has
community programs in which people of any level can enroll in vocal or
instrumental lessons.
