A COF course offered at Emmanuel College (and you can cross register!), Introduction to the Performing Arts is a survey of dance, theater, music and performance art through observation and listening, readings and experiential learning. The class includes lectures, discussions and attendance at performances. The varied roles of performing arts are considered from historical, sociological, commerical and contemporary points of view.

This course is required for the COF Minor in Performing Arts.
