Simmons College
Simmons College offers academic courses in music and theater, and is also home to co-curricular activities in music, theater and dance. In addition to on-campus programs, Simmons College students should consider joining the COF Chorus and/or Orchestra.

Music
Sirens
The Sirens is a 15-voice a cappella women’s singing group open to Simmons College students by audition. This group performs concerts, sings at various school events, and records a CD every other year. David Browder is the faculty advisor for the Sirens. Simmons Chorale
The Simmons Chorale is a women’s chorus directed by staff conductor, Sharon Brown. Open to students, staff and faculty at Simmons College, the chorale sings a wide variety of music in two concerts per academic year. Performances are held at Simmons College and often feature soloists and student composers, as well as music for the entire ensemble. Dance Team
This newly forming student organization includes tap, modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop and

Theater
V Day Simmons
As an activity of the Feminist Organization at Simmons, students have performed The Vagina Monologues every February for the past four years. Students interested in this event or other theater groups on campus should contact the Office of Student Activities at Simmons College (www.my.simmons.edu/life/studentactivities).

Poetry
