WIT students
are welcome to participate in performing arts activities across the
Colleges of the Fenway. They can participate in the COF Chorus and/or
Orchestra, or another smaller ensemble in the COF community. On campus,
students may participate in the Ballroom Dance Club. Further, there are
opportunities to get involved in the technical components of productions
and events.

Brush up on the tango, the swing or another favorite, and hit the dance
floor! WIT has a student run Ballroom Dance Club that hires a dance
instructor each academic year. This club is open to the entire COF

Team
Student Leadership Programs hires a small team of students to provide
technical support for programs and events on campus such as comedians,
concerts, DJ’ing barbeques, and films. These students are trained on the
sound equipment and then work independently to support these programs.
This team is comprised of workstudy students.
Broadcast Journalism and DJ Opportunities
WIRE (Wentworth Internet Radio Experience)
In February 2005 WIT launched its first internet radio station, WIRE.
There are opportunities for management of the station and also programming
positions. DJs, talk show hosts and others are hired throughout the year.
Creativity is encouraged and those without prior experience will be
trained on the equipment. WIRE’s studio is located in Student Leadership

Event Planning and
Show Production
WEB
Wentworth Events Board is the group of students that produces large
scale programs for the WIT campus. There are opportunities to work on
event planning, artist booking, contract negotiation, event production,
performer hospitality and audience management. Any student can join and no
prior experience is necessary. WEB’s office is located in Student
