The Emmanuel College Theater Program presents “Buried Child” happening on February 18th & February 19th in the Emmanuel College Auditorium in the Eisner Administration Building.

Sam Shepard’s Pulitzer Prize-winning American classic sets us in an old farmhouse, seemingly perfect looking from the outside. But the backyard is full of dead crops, and the interior is full of buried secrets and family tragedies that manifest in anger, resentment, confusion, and denial. So what happens when a previous inhabitant returns after six years with new hobbies, a new girlfriend, and something to prove?

Buried Child is an unforgettable commentary on family systems that will leave you haunted by the thought of what could have been.

Come enjoy our final student directed piece for this season, directed by Julia Burke!
